An essential part of food culture

Earthenware, with its natural texture and appearance, is not limited to traditional Japanese cuisine, and are now attracting attention all over the world, transcending culinary genres.
Both OSHIO Shozan IV and his daughter, Hiroko not only have a deep respect for food culture, but Hiroko also has the knowledge and experience as the Wine Expert Excellence and SAKE Diploma.
Up until now, through interactions and collaborations with restaurants, we have produced tableware that closely matches the cuisine and worldview of each restaurant.

Focusing on the reality and future of food

For example, in modern times, food and tableware are exposed to strong light such as halogen lights. Furthermore, when considering about securing human resources, it is becoming more difficult to secure service staff who can properly handle tableware. There are many new issues surrounding food and tableware that cannot be resolved by simply copying the past.
On the other hand, however, the number of both Japanese and overseas visitors enjoying food has steadily increased over the past few years. We propose tableware that presicely evolves and develops the reality of food and connect it to future possibilities.
